The natural cosmetics industry created a huge interest to Tia and she began researching ingredients and formulations in college. Excited with all the information she obtained, she began creating recipes for her own handmade cosmetics and personal care products. She tailored each recipe for her own specific facial and body needs. Tia helps others who are interested in learning more about the beauty industry. Whether it is saving money or formulating for personal use, Tia hopes to connect with other beauty enthusiasts who share similar interests.
Community outreach is very important to Tia and she has a huge passion for helping others. As a volunteer at Rocky Mountain PBS in the Super School News program, Tia exhibits her skills and knowledge in the media with 5th & 6th graders in Colorado. With the support from family members and friends, she has collected and donated over 1,000 beauty and personal care products to various organizations in the Denver-metro area. She recently helped two co-workers with relief efforts to those affected by the natural disasters in the Caribbean and Mexico.
Tia is a native to Micronesia and was born on the island of Guam, the largest island of the Northern Marianas. She currently resides in Denver, CO with her family.
